The best Glock 19 holster
Quick answer: for a plain Glock 19 carried inside the waistband, the Bianchi 100 Professional (around $75) is the best holster. Bianchi makes it in a Glock 19 size of its own (Fit Group 11, shared with the Glock 23, 29, 30 and 45) in full-grain cowhide with a high back and a spring-steel clip. If your Glock 19 carries a red dot or a weapon light, get the Safariland Incog X instead: it is the only pick here listed as red-dot compatible and sold in light-bearing versions. The Comp-Tac Infidel Ultra Max lets you adjust cant and retention but does not take a slide-mounted optic, and the Galco Tuck-N-Go 2.0 (around $60) is the budget pick, in tan only.
With a Glock 19 the hard part is rarely finding a holster; it is picking the right model on a listing that sells the same holster in many versions. So we opened each listing's model rows, found the row that names the Glock 19, and carded that exact model. The rest of this page is about what changes for the Glock 19 specifically: the fit list, the generation, a red dot on the slide, a light on the rail, and where you carry it. For holsters across other pistols, see our best concealed carry holster roundup.
Glock 19 fit: the exact model each holster sells

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bianchi 100 Professional | 26822 (Bianchi Fit Group 11) | Glock 19, 23, 29, 30, 45 | Black, right (tan and left hand also made) | Not listed | No | around $75 |

| Comp-Tac Infidel Ultra Max | C538GL051R50N (Gen 5: separate row) | Glock 19, 23, 32 | Black, right | No, per retailer expert | No | around $90 |
| Galco Tuck-N-Go 2.0 | TUC226 | Glock 19, 23, 32, 36 | Tan, right (tan only) | Not listed | No | around $60 |
The Bianchi fit group and part numbers are from Bianchi's own fit table; the other models and pistol lists are from the retailer's model rows. "Not listed" means the maker or retailer says nothing either way, so do not assume it fits. Prices are bands; confirm the current price and availability on the retailer page before you buy.
Our picks
Best Glock 19 holster overall: Bianchi 100 Professional
Leather IWB · Bianchi Fit Group 11: Glock 19, 23, 29, 30, 45 · card: part 26822, Black, right hand · full-grain cowhide, high back, spring-steel clip for belts up to 1.75 in
around $75exact price on OpticsPlanet
Bianchi makes the Model 100 in a Glock 19 size of its own: Fit Group 11, which Bianchi lists for the Glock 19, 23, 29, 30 and 45, in black or tan and in right- or left-hand versions (part 26822 on this card is the black right-hand one). That matters because a leather holster is molded, and this is a mold Bianchi names for the gun rather than a generic size. The build is Bianchi's: full-grain cowhide, a suede-lined back and a high back between the slide and your body, on a spring-steel clip. Owners of the listing, which covers 61 models, rate it 4.6 out of 5, and the owner of the tan Glock 19 version writes that it fits both his Glock 19 and a Sig P228. The trade-off is the leather itself: the mouth closes once the Glock is out.
Pros
- A Bianchi mold listed for the Glock 19 by name, in black or tan, right or left hand
- Full-grain cowhide, suede-lined back and a high back that keeps the slide off your skin, per Bianchi
- Owners report carrying it strong side, appendix and cross draw
- Closed bottom and a two-year Bianchi warranty
Cons
- The mouth collapses after the draw, so reholstering takes two hands; the most repeated owner complaint
- Bianchi's fit table lists no optic or weapon-light version
- Fixed angle, with no cant or ride-height adjustment
- Only two owner reviews on the listing name the Glock 19, so the Glock-specific record is thin
Best for: a plain Glock 19 (no optic, no light) carried inside the waistband all day, when comfort beats one-handed reholstering.

Best Glock 19 holster for a red dot or a light: Safariland Incog X (Glock 19/17)
IWB · Boltaron, microfiber suede wrap · passive trigger guard and ejection port retention · red-dot compatible, 0.406 in sight channel (retailer listing) · card: Glock 19/17, Black, right hand, no light
around $100exact price on OpticsPlanet
This is the one Glock 19 holster here built around the way many G19s are carried now: with an optic on the slide, and often a light on the rail. The retailer lists this Incog X model for the Glock 19 and 17, states micro and full-size red-dot compatibility with a 0.406 inch sight channel, and sells versions on the same listing cut for a weapon light (rows named for a Streamlight TLR-7, a SureFire X300 and a large weapon light) and versions with a magazine caddy. Retention is passive, at the trigger guard and ejection port, with adjustable tension, and the Boltaron shell keeps its shape for one-handed reholstering. Its weakness is evidence: this Glock 19 listing has no owner reviews yet, and the reviews on Safariland's separate Glock 43X/48 listing are about a different holster, so we do not use them.
Pros
- Listed as red-dot compatible, with a 0.406 in sight channel
- Light-bearing versions on the same listing, with the light named on each row
- Rigid shell stays open for one-handed reholstering
- Adjustable tension and clip shims, per the retailer listing
Cons
- No owner reviews yet on this Glock 19 listing
- The most expensive Glock 19 holster here
- The plain model on this card has no light cut; a light needs a different row
- Listed for the Glock 17 and 19 only, not the Glock 23 like the other three
Best for: a Glock 19 with a slide-mounted red dot, or a Glock 19 with a weapon light if you order the light-bearing row that names your light.

Best adjustable Glock 19 holster: Comp-Tac Infidel Ultra Max
Hybrid IWB · Kydex shell on two-layer cowhide · adjustable retention and cant · card: Glock 19/23/32, right hand; separate Glock 19 Gen 5 row (retailer listing)
around $90exact price on OpticsPlanet
The pick if you want to tune the holster to your Glock and your body. The retailer lists adjustable retention (an Allen wrench is in the box) and a cant-adjustable clip on a hybrid build, a Kydex shell on a two-layer cowhide backing, so the shell stays open after the draw while the leather sits against you. Note the rows: this card is the model listed for the Glock 19, 23 and 32, and the same listing sells a separate model for the Glock 19 Gen 5, so match the generation you own. Two limits keep it below the Bianchi. The retailer's product expert says it will not accept a pistol with a slide-mounted optic, and its 15 owner reviews cover 72 models with none about the Glock 19 row.
Pros
- Adjustable retention and cant, per the retailer listing
- Kydex shell stays open; the leather backing is what owners praise for comfort
- A separate row for the Glock 19 Gen 5, so the generation is spelled out
- Interchangeable shells if you later carry another pistol
Cons
- Not for an optic-cut Glock 19 carrying a red dot, per the retailer's product expert
- Only 15 owner reviews across 72 models, and none about the Glock 19 model
- Reholstering is the most mentioned difficulty in its small owner record
- One owner reports it wearing the slide finish within days
Best for: a Glock 19 without an optic, when you want to set the cant and tension yourself.

Best budget Glock 19 holster: Galco Tuck-N-Go 2.0
Leather IWB, tuckable · steerhide · metal-reinforced mouth · low ride · card: TUC226, Glock 19/23/32/36, Tan, right hand (retailer listing)
around $60exact price on OpticsPlanet
The least expensive Glock 19 holster here, and the one to hide under a tucked shirt. Galco's Glock 19 model, TUC226, is listed for the Glock 19, 23, 32 and 36, and it comes in tan only; there is no black Glock 19 version on the listing. The retailer lists a steerhide body with a metal-reinforced mouth for easier holstering, a low ride and two clips in the box. A Glock 19 owner on the listing advises rotating the grip slightly forward to clear the front sight on the draw, and an earlier owner of this exact TUC226 model found it best at appendix carry. Most of its reviews predate the redesign (the TUC226 review below names the earlier J-Hook clip), and the retailer's own description still describes that version, so treat the owner record as history.
Pros
- The lowest price among the Glock 19 holsters here
- Tuckable, low ride: the most concealable of the four
- Metal-reinforced mouth, per the retailer listing
- An owner of the TUC226 reports it works for appendix and strong-side carry
Cons
- Tan only for the Glock 19
- Most owner reviews describe the earlier J-Hook version, not the 2.0
- Owners of the older version report the leather collapsing, which makes reholstering hard
- No optic or light cut listed
Best for: a plain Glock 19 on a budget, carried deep under a tucked shirt.

A red dot or a light on your Glock 19
An optic on the slide and a light on the rail both change the outline the holster has to clear. With a red dot, the holster has to leave room for the optic above the slide; the Incog X is the one pick listed for it, with a 0.406 inch sight channel. The Comp-Tac is the one the retailer's expert rules out. With a light, you need a light-bearing model molded for your exact light, and even lights from one family differ in length: our best pistol light guide explains why a TLR-7 HL-X needs a different holster from a TLR-7 X. On the Incog X listing, each light-bearing row names the light it is cut for; order the row that matches yours.
Where you carry it
- Strong side, about 3 to 5 o'clock. The default for all four. The Bianchi rides at a fixed angle; the Comp-Tac's cant is adjustable, per the retailer listing.
- Appendix, about 1 o'clock. Owners report appendix carry with the Bianchi 100 and the Tuck-N-Go (an owner of the TUC226 found it the best position), and one Comp-Tac owner lists appendix among the positions he finds comfortable. None of these makers list an appendix-specific model on our cards.
- Outside the waistband. The one OWB holster we reviewed, the BlackHawk SERPA CQC on our concealed carry roundup, has no Glock 19 version on its listing, so this page has no OWB pick.
Also not carded here: the Galco KingTuk hybrid, whose only Glock 19 model at the retailer is a used demo unit that cannot be ordered. It appears on the concealed carry roundup for SIG P320 and S&W M&P owners.
How we chose these
This is a research-based roundup, not a hands-on test. We started from the retailer's inside-the-waistband and concealment holster categories, kept only holsters with an orderable model that names the Glock 19, and carded that model (used and demo units set aside). We read every owner review on each listing, including every low-star one, and counted how many were about a Glock. For the Bianchi, we checked the Glock fit group, part numbers, construction and warranty against Bianchi's own pages; claims from secondary research that we could not confirm at the source were left out. Our scores are our opinion; owner ratings are shown attributed to the retailer that collected them, and each listing's rating covers all of its models. We say nothing here about carry laws. See our methodology for how we work.
FAQ
What is the best holster for a Glock 19?
For a plain Glock 19 carried inside the waistband, the Bianchi 100 Professional. Bianchi makes it in a Glock 19 size (Fit Group 11, which also fits the Glock 23, 29, 30 and 45) in full-grain cowhide with a high back and a spring-steel clip. If your Glock 19 wears a red dot or a weapon light, choose the Safariland Incog X instead, which is listed as red-dot compatible and sold in light-bearing versions.
What is the best Glock 19 holster for a red dot?
Of the four here, the Safariland Incog X is the one the retailer lists as red-dot compatible, with a 0.406 inch sight channel. The retailer's product expert says the Comp-Tac Infidel Ultra Max will not accept a slide-mounted optic, and neither the Bianchi nor the Galco listing mentions optic compatibility.
Will a Glock 19 holster fit a Glock 23?
Usually, and the holsters here say so: the Bianchi 100 (Fit Group 11), the Comp-Tac model on our card and the Galco Tuck-N-Go TUC226 all list the Glock 23 with the Glock 19. The Safariland Incog X on our card is listed for the Glock 17 and 19 only. Always check the pistol list of the exact model you order.
Can I carry a Glock 19 with a weapon light in a regular holster?
No. A light changes the shape of the pistol, so you need a light-bearing holster molded for your pistol and your exact light. The Incog X listing sells Glock 19 versions named for a Streamlight TLR-7, a SureFire X300 and a large weapon light; the other three picks list no light version.
Does the Glock 19 generation matter for a holster?
It can. The Comp-Tac listing sells a separate model for the Glock 19 Gen 5, which tells you the maker treats the generations differently. The other listings name the Glock 19 without a generation, so if you carry a Gen 5, confirm the fit on the retailer page before you buy.
